Setup steps

Eight steps to load LapisTV, enable the guide, and lock in stable playback.

1

Open LapisTV App Player

Launch LapisTV App Player version 5.3.3 on your device. From the home screen, open Settings (gear icon) in the top-right or side menu.
2

Add your LapisTV playlist

Go to Playlists → Add playlist. Choose the connection type your welcome email specifies:
  • M3U URL — paste the full playlist link from your LapisTV account email.
  • Xtream Codes API — enter Server URL, Username, and Password exactly as shown in your credentials.
Name the playlist LapisTV, then save. Wait for channels to finish loading before leaving this screen.
3

Configure the TV guide (EPG)

Open Settings → EPG (Electronic Program Guide). If your package includes an EPG source URL, add it under EPG sources. Set update interval to every 6–12 hours, enable auto-update, then tap Update EPG. Matching program names to channels may take a few minutes on first run.
4

Tune playback & buffer

Open Settings → Playback (or Buffer). Recommended starting values for LapisTV streams:
  • Buffer size: Medium (or 5–10 seconds) on Wi‑Fi; increase on unstable networks.
  • Decoder: Hardware when available; switch to Software only if you see black screens or stuttering.
  • Connection timeout: 10–15 seconds.
  • External player: leave internal player on unless you prefer a specific external app.
5

Customize the interface

Under Settings → Interface (or Appearance):
  • Enable channel logos and EPG preview where available.
  • Set channel sort to number or name — match how you browse live sports.
  • Turn on recently watched / favorites for faster access.
  • Choose a dark theme for living-room viewing comfort.
6

Organize groups & favorites

From the channel list, long-press a channel (or open the options menu) to add it to Favorites. Hide unused groups under playlist management so sports, movies, and local channels stay easy to find. Reorder groups if your player build supports drag-and-drop.
7

Network & stability tips

Use a wired Ethernet adapter on ONN / Google TV boxes when possible. On Wi‑Fi, prefer 5 GHz close to the router. Close background apps, and avoid VPN hops that add latency unless your network requires one. If a channel buffers, try another quality option or raise the buffer slightly — do not stack extreme buffer values.
8

Verify live playback

Return to the live guide, open a major sports or news channel, and confirm audio + video play smoothly for at least one minute. Open the EPG for that channel to confirm guide data loaded. You are ready to stream with LapisTV App Player 5.3.3.

Device notes

ONN & Google TV

Best experience on ONN streaming devices (USA & Canada) and Google TV boxes. Use a USB Ethernet adapter when available.

Android TV / Fire TV

Sideload or install LapisTV App Player as directed in your install guide, then apply the same playlist and EPG steps.

Phone & tablet

Portrait and landscape both work. Keep screen timeout longer while watching live sports.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common LapisTV App Player setup issues.

Confirm playlist URL or Xtream credentials are typed exactly (no extra spaces). Update the playlist, then restart the player. Check that your LapisTV subscription is active.

Account safety: never share your playlist URL or Xtream password publicly. Revoke and regenerate credentials from your LapisTV billing area if they are exposed. Settings on this page do not grant copyrighted content rights beyond your active subscription terms.
