Step-by-Step Installation

Eight simple steps to get LapisTV running on your device. Each step shows the screen you should see.

Open the Google Play Store

From your device home screen, find and open the Google Play Store app. On ONN streaming devices (USA & Canada), Google TV, and other Google-certified devices, the Play Store is pre-installed and found in your apps row.

Search for the Downloader app

Use the search icon at the top of the Play Store and type Downloader. Select the app named Downloader by AFTVnews from the results — it has an orange triangle icon.

On the Downloader app page, select Install and wait for the installation to finish. Once installed, you can open it directly from this screen or from your apps row.

Open Downloader & allow permissions

Open Downloader. If prompted, allow the app permission to access files on your device — this is required so it can save and install the LapisTV app file. You will see the Downloader home screen with a URL/address bar at the top.

Enter the LapisTV downloader code 4803282

Select the URL bar and use the on-screen keypad to enter the LapisTV downloader code: 4803282. Then press Go on your remote. This code loads the official LapisTV app (version 5.3) download page.

Download the LapisTV app

Downloader will fetch the LapisTV app installation file (APK). Wait for the progress bar to reach 100%. Do not close Downloader or press Back while the download is in progress.

Install the LapisTV app

When the download completes, an install prompt appears. Select Install. If a security warning mentions unknown apps, follow the on-screen prompt to allow Downloader to install apps, then return and install again.

Open LapisTV & sign in

Once installed, select Open or find the LapisTV app in your apps row. Launch it and sign in with the credentials provided in your welcome email after activating your subscription. Enjoy premium streaming on your device!

Works on Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips and other Google TV / Android TV powered smart TVs. Downloader is available directly from the Play Store.

Other Google Devices

Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield TV, and any Google-certified Android TV box all support the Downloader method.

Android Phones & Tablets

On phones/tablets you can also install Downloader from the Play Store, or download the LapisTV APK directly from your account portal.

Troubleshooting & Tips

Common issues and how to fix them quickly.

Downloader says "Install unknown apps" is blocked+

Go to Settings → Apps → Security & restrictions → Install unknown apps, select Downloader, and turn on "Allow from this source". Then retry the install.

The downloader code is not loading a page+

Double-check that you typed 4803282 with no spaces. Make sure your device is connected to the internet. If it still fails, try clearing the Downloader app data and re-entering the code.

The download stops or fails partway+

Close other apps to free memory, ensure a stable connection, and restart the download. A wired or strong Wi-Fi connection near your router gives the most reliable result.

LapisTV app crashes on launch+

Make sure you installed version 5.3 or newer. Uninstall the old app, then repeat the install using the downloader code to get the latest official build.

I cannot find the Play Store on my device+

ONN and Google-certified devices include the Play Store by default. If your device is not Google-certified (some generic Android boxes), contact support for an alternative install method.
